Paradigm Switch is a hard rock band from Los Angeles, blending the raw energy of metal with the spirit of classic rock—on their own terms. Born out of guitarist Andrew’s search for a new musical direction, the band took shape when he teamed up with longtime friends and seasoned local musicians: Miguel Orozco (Lead Guitar), Renan Carrasco (Bass), and Cristian Cornejo (Drums). Though they shared a history going back to high school, the idea of forming a band didn’t click until a jam session in June 2022 sparked an undeniable chemistry.

From that moment on, Paradigm Switch has been all forward momentum.

The band’s sound is heavy, fast, and emotionally driven—with a wide range of influences that keep things fresh without losing the edge. Their lyrics tackle personal struggles, social barriers, mental health, and the chaos and clarity of love.

Not every song sounds the same. Paradigm Switch embraces variety—you’ll hear blistering speed and raw intensity, but also laid-back grooves and upbeat anthems. The goal is to honor the bands that inspired us, while carving out our own identity and sound—hoping to one day inspire the next generation of artists.

Currently working on their debut EP, Paradigm Switch is carving out their space in the rock scene—loud, honest, and unapologetically themselves.
